We want to help you get Online Advantage in production fast, so you can concentrate on the needs of your business. Since users of Online Advantage vary greatly in both corporate size and in IT support and expertise, we provide 2 options.
Fully Managed option
Those who prefer to outsource their IT solutions because you are looking to focus on your business and your core skills. If you don't want to have the responsibility for maintaining or updating the hardware and software and on a regular basis choose this option.
If you want someone to perform nightly backups, server administration, and housekeeping activities then choose this option. If you want your server monitored 24x7 in a completely redundant fail-safe environment then choose this option.
In essence, the Fully Managed option allows you to get the benefits from using the software without having the hassles of software maintenance, data protection and infrastructure upgrades.
Self Managed option
As the name suggest – you take full responsibility for the software and the server environment including all upgrades, manipulations, data backups, housekeeping etc.
In essence, unlike the Full Managed option, you purchase a license to use the software and you run it within your own infrastructure covering servers, database license, backups devices, power and fire protection etc.
Should you need to replace or upgrade any of these elements then it is your decision and done at your cost. If you want to take control of all these elements and manage them with your own resources then choose this option.
